FNL membership is open at participating schools to anyone who is interested and who commits to a healthy lifestyle.  SLO County has FNL chapters at each high school and middle school across the county, and at Cal Poly. FNL members meet regularly as a chapter at school, with an adult advisor, to plan activities that create awareness and change around alcohol, tobacco, other drug and mental health issues affecting the youth of San Luis Obispo county. Members have the opportunity to develop their leadership skills through annual FNL youth trainings, leadership conferences and schoolwide youth issues conferences.

CPFNL - College

CPFNL expands FNL to the college community of Cal Poly. FNL provides prevention opportunities, outreach and activities to students transitioning into college life.  CPFNL leaders focus on the college culture of high risk drinking and substance use, and work with a variety of campus and community groups to (1) raise awareness of the dangers of these issues to college aged youth (2) provide opportunities for Cal Poly students to engage in fun activities without substances, and (3) partner with campus and community groups to develop and enhance projects that encourage healthy lifestyles amongst the college community.

Friday Night Live creates partnerships for postive and healthy youth development, which engage youth as active leaders and resources in their communities.
