San Luis Obispo County's Drug Free Communities (DFC) project, DFC 101 is a community-wide effort to partner with local high schools and colleges to reduce the problems associated with youth alcohol and marijuana use.  Projects include:  providing training to high school and college youth, parents and organizations; establishing a DFC 101 Task Force to oversee DFC projects; develop college level Friday Night Live chapters; create a FNL Network linking high school FNL students to positive supports in college communities; provide high school and college level education to increase youth's perceived harm of alcohol & marijuana; reduce youth access to alcohol & marijuana; develop social marketing campaigns to encourage positive, healthy choices.
